We're looking for an Employee Relations Specialist to join our growing Cebu team. In this role, you'll focus on building strong employee relationships, resolving workplace issues, and ensuring a positive and compliant work environment. You'll be a trusted point of contact for employees, providing guidance, fostering engagement, and ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and labor laws.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Employee Engagement & Relations – Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and workplace issues, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
  • Case Management – Manage employee relations cases including conflict resolution, investigations, disciplinary actions, and documentation in line with company policies and Philippine labor laws.
  • Policy Implementation – Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures, and compliance standards across all teams.
  • Coaching & Advisory – Partner with managers and team leads by providing guidance on employee relations matters, performance management, and workplace best practices.
  • Engagement Programs – Support initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction, retention, and overall engagement within the organization.
  • Compliance & Governance – Ensure adherence to Philippine labor laws and regulations, minimizing risks while protecting both the business and employees.
  • Performance Support – Assist in managing performance improvement plans, coaching sessions, and other employee development initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years in Employee Relations, HR Generalist, or HR Specialist role (preferably in a BPO/outsourcing environment).
  • Labor Law Knowledge: Strong understanding of Philippine labor laws, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Problem-Solving: Skilled in conflict resolution, case management, and handling sensitive employee matters with discretion.
  • Communication: Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels.
  • HR Operations Exposure: Background in onboarding, offboarding, compensation & benefits, and HR documentation is an advantage.
