We're looking for highly motivated individuals eager to build their expertise in Cybersecurity.

What You'll Do:

The Cloud and Cybersecurity Intern will support the implementation, monitoring, and documentation of security practices and cloud-based systems. The role provides hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, cloud infrastructure, and IT support within an enterprise environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining and monitoring cloud infrastructure (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
  • Support cybersecurity operations such as vulnerability scanning, patching, and endpoint protection.
  • Aid in implementing IT policies aligned with security best practices.
  • Help document system configurations, security incidents, and compliance checks.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Assist with identity and access management processes, including account provisioning and privilege reviews.
  • Contribute to system backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities.
  • Provide support for IT audits and assessments related to cloud and security operations.
GENERAL DUTIES
  • Attend team meetings and submit all required reports and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to the organization's cybersecurity guidelines and data protection standards.
  • Participate in training programs related to cloud security, compliance, and IT best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to solve technical issues and improve security posture.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and observe ethical security practices.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields
  • At least 1 year of experience in technical support or a similar IT role.
  • With understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Exposure to cybersecurity tools and practices (e.g., antivirus, firewalls, multi-factor authentication)
  • Familiarity with network protocols and security concepts (e.g., VPN, DNS, firewalls, encryption)
  • Knowledge of identity and access management, and cloud permissions
  • Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) is a plus
  • Exposure to standards like ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls is a plus
  • Fast learner with a positive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and a passion for tech.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced tech environment
