KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Billing & Invoicing

  • Oversee timely and accurate creation of invoices and statements.

2. Collections & Follow-ups

  • Monitor aging of receivables and ensure consistent collection follow-up.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements when necessary.
  • Resolve customer invoicing issues to avoid delays.

3. Credit & Risk Management

  • Implement and enforce company credit policies.
  • Review and approve customer credit terms and limits.
  • Assess customer creditworthiness and recommend risk controls.

4. Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare AR aging report, collection forecast, and AR performance summary.
  • Recommend strategies to reduce overdue accounts.
  • Analyze trends in customer payments.

5. Team Leadership & Process Improvements

  • Supervise AR associates/specialists.
  • Train team on best practices and system usage.
  • Improve billing and collection workflow for accuracy and efficiency.

6. Audit & Compliance

  • Support internal/external audits related to AR.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies.
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation.
  • Validate supporting documents before billing (DRs, contract terms, pricing).
  • Ensure completeness of sales and revenue recording.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related course.
  • CPA is an advantage.
  • Minimum 3–5 years AR experience; 2+ years in supervisory/managerial roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and AR systems.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems.
