Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of solid experience in Human Resource management, preferably in a supervisory or officer-level role.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine Labor Laws, DOLE compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Proven experience in drafting and implementing HR policies and memorandums.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and professionalism in handling confidential information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

A. Core HR Operations

  • Oversee timekeeping and attendance monitoring, including preparation and submission of DTRs and leave management.
  • Ensure timely processing and remittance of government-mandated benefits and loans (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, etc.) every on or before the 10th of the month.
  • Maintain and update employee files, HR databases, and personnel records.
  • Act as custodian of HR and company documents, ensuring confidentiality and proper filing.

B. Policy Administration and Documentation

  • Draft, review, and implement company policies, guidelines, and office memorandums in coordination with management and legal counsel.
  • Ensure all employees are properly informed of new or revised policies and that acknowledgment forms are secured.
  • Continuously review existing HR procedures to ensure alignment with labor standards and company objectives.

C. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including manpower planning, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring.
  • Conduct orientation and onboarding sessions for newly hired employees.
  • Coordinate with department heads to ensure staffing needs are met according to operational requirements.

D. Employee Relations & Development

  • Monitor and evaluate employee performance, attendance, and behavior to ensure adherence to company rules and policies.
  • Conduct probationary evaluations (1st, 3rd, and before 6th month) and assist in annual performance appraisals.
  • Implement disciplinary procedures and corrective actions based on company standards.
  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication and employee engagement.

E. Legal & Compliance

  • Coordinate with retainer lawyers for employment-related concerns, contract reviews, and other legal matters.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and DOLE regulations, and prepare necessary documentation for audits or inspections.
  • Keep management informed of any changes or updates in government labor requirements.

F. Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Support

  • Coordinate with Accounting for payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in attendance, deductions, and benefits.
  • Administer employee benefits, loan applications, and government contributions.
  • Review and recommend improvements in compensation and benefits programs.

G. Administrative & Supervisory Functions

  • Prepare Request for Payments (RFPs) for retainers (lawyers, draftsman, and consultants).
  • Supervise the Building Custodian and Maintenance personnel to ensure cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of company premises.
  • Monitor First Aid Kit and medicine supplies, ensuring availability and proper maintenance.
  • Prepare HR reports and updates for management meetings.
  • Performs other tasks related to Human Resource
