We are looking for a skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to support our food production operations by maintaining, repairing, and optimizing machinery and equipment. This role is critical to ensuring uninterrupted production, food safety compliance, and equipment reliability in a fast-paced, hygiene-sensitive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on food processing equipment (e.g., mixers, ovens, conveyors, packaging machines)
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize production downtime
  • Maintain detailed service records and ensure documentation aligns with food safety standards
  • Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations
  • Ensure all equipment complies with HACCP, GMP, and other food safety regulations
  • Support installation and commissioning of new machinery
  • Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate timely replenishment
  • Participate in audits and inspections related to equipment and maintenance protocols

Qualifications:

  • Technical diploma or vocational certification in mechanical/electrical maintenance
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in food manufacturing or processing
  • Familiarity with food-grade machinery and equipment
  • Ability to interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and SOPs
  • Physically fit and able to work in temperature-controlled environments
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and safety
  • Experience with automated systems, PLCs, and packaging lines
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From Php21,000.00 per month
