Organizational Capability Officer

As Organizational Capability Development Officer in you will strategically designs, implements, and oversees programs that enhance workforce skills, performance, and culture to achieve business goals, focusing on areas like talent management, leadership development, performance management, and change management while analyzing training needs and measuring effectiveness. Key responsibilities include assessing skill gaps, developing custom learning solutions, coaching managers, and collaborating with stakeholders across the bank to foster a high-performance culture and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Needs Assessment & Strategy Development:
- Conducts thorough assessments of organizational and individual capability gaps and develops strategic initiatives to build a skilled and adaptable workforce in the banking environment.
Program Design & Implementation:
- Creates and implements comprehensive development programs and policies, including leadership development, career pathing, performance management, and succession planning, tailored to the banking industry's needs.
Learning & Development Delivery:
- Designs and facilitates various training methods, such as workshops, e-learning, and coaching, to enhance technical and soft skills across all levels of the bank.
Change Management:
- Leads initiatives and communication plans to support organizational changes, ensuring smooth transitions and employee buy-in for new processes or structures.
Performance Management:
- Provides expertise and tools to managers for performance reviews, feedback, and coaching, helping to drive individual and team performance improvement.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Works closely with department heads, HR, and senior leadership to align capability initiatives with business strategy and ensures effective communication across the organization.
Measurement & Evaluation:
- Develops metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness and impact of development programs and makes data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
Budget Management:
- Oversees the budget for organizational development and learning initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
Key Skills and Qualifications
- A graduate of a Business Course or equivalent
- 3 - 5 years experience in Organizational Development
- Strong understanding of organizational development principles, theories, and best practices, particularly as they apply to the financial services sector.
- Ability to connect development initiatives to the bank's overarching vision and strategic goals.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders, lead teams, and drive organizational change.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder management.
