Job Summary:

The TOLL O&M Specialist / Facility Engineer is responsible for the daily operations, maintenance, and technical support of toll facilities, infrastructure, and systems. This role ensures tolling equipment, civil structures, and associated building facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards. The candidate will serve as a liaison between field teams, contractors, and engineering staff, overseeing both preventive and corrective maintenance while managing projects related to system upgrades or facility improvements.

Key Responsibilities:Operations & Maintenance (TOLL):

  • Monitor toll system performance and ensure functionality of equipment such as Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI), Automatic Vehicle Classification (AVC), and violation enforcement systems (VES).

  • Coordinate the maintenance and repair of toll collection systems (hardware and software).

  • Oversee incident response, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of toll system faults.

  • Maintain accurate logs of operations issues, maintenance activities, and resolutions.

  • Work with system vendors and IT support to deploy software updates and configuration changes.

  • Ensure data integrity and system uptime in coordination with traffic management centers and other stakeholders.

Facility Engineering:

  • Conduct inspections and assessments of buildings, electrical and mechanical systems, HVAC, lighting, and security infrastructure.

  • Plan, schedule, and supervise facility maintenance activities and upgrades.

  • Review and manage facility service contracts (e.g., janitorial, landscaping, elevator maintenance).

  • Implement energy-saving and sustainability initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.

  • Develop and manage facility-related budgets and maintenance records.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with extensive experience of atleast five (5) years in tollways operation and maintenance.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, SCADA, and facility systems.

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals.

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
