Job Title: Human Resources (HR) Officer
Job Summary
The HR Officer supports the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems. They ensure that the organization's human capital serves the best interests of the company by managing procedures, policies, and programs related to employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate hiring processes including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Prepare employment contracts and ensure proper documentation.
- Employee Relations
- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.
- Promote a positive work environment through engagement initiatives.
- HR Administration
- Maintain employee records and HR databases.
- Prepare reports on HR metrics like turnover rates and absenteeism.
- Compliance & Policy Management
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
- Update and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Training & Development
- Assist in organizing training sessions and workshops.
- Monitor employee performance and support development plans.
- Payroll & Benefits
- Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Administer employee benefits and leave management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in HR roles (typically 2+ years).
- Knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and MS Office.
