Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to support our Human Resources department with daily administrative tasks and help ensure the smooth running of HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
  • Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations, etc.)
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc.)
  • Help organize and maintain HR policies and procedures
  • Assist with the recruitment process
  • Maintain employee confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
  • Provide support to tasks related to employee relations such as handling employee concerns & grievances.
  • Help prepare notices, memos, and documentation such as Notice to Explain (NTE), disciplinary action forms, and meeting summaries
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and assist with organizing HR events
  • Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests
  • Perform general administrative duties such as filing, scheduling, and correspondence
  • Other tasks as assigned from time to time

Competencies:

  • Proven experience as an HR Assistant, HR Administrator, or relevant human resources/administrative position
  • Knowledge of HR functions and best practices
  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRIS systems is an advantage
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
