Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to support our Human Resources department with daily administrative tasks and help ensure the smooth running of HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
- Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations, etc.)
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc.)
- Help organize and maintain HR policies and procedures
- Assist with the recruitment process
- Maintain employee confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
- Provide support to tasks related to employee relations such as handling employee concerns & grievances.
- Help prepare notices, memos, and documentation such as Notice to Explain (NTE), disciplinary action forms, and meeting summaries
- Support employee engagement initiatives and assist with organizing HR events
- Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, scheduling, and correspondence
- Other tasks as assigned from time to time
Competencies:
- Proven experience as an HR Assistant, HR Administrator, or relevant human resources/administrative position
- Knowledge of HR functions and best practices
- Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures is a plus
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRIS systems is an advantage
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
