Job Highlights:
- Contract type: Independent Contractor
- Schedule: 40 hours a week; Mon-Fri 9am - 6pm PST (includes 1 hr unpaid break)
Scope:
- Target universe of approximately 6,000 colleges and universities in the United States
- Combination of lead generation research and active calling responsibilities
- Direct reporting relationship with client management team
- Performance measured against specific monthly targets for qualified appointments
- Use of client-provided dialer system and CRM tools
- 90-day probationary period with ongoing performance evaluation
- Conduct high-volume cold calling to approximately 6,000 universities and colleges across the US
- Execute 30-second to 1-minute sales scripts to introduce services and generate interest
- Research and verify contact information for university and college decision-makers when needed
- Qualify leads through strategic questioning and needs assessment
- Handle objections, rejections, and pushbacks professionally to move prospects forward
- Secure strong commitments from prospects to attend scheduled meetings
- Maintain detailed records of all interactions and outcomes
- Work closely with management to achieve monthly goals (such as 40 qualified leads per month)
- Proven B2B sales experience with demonstrated success in appointment setting
- Strong customer service background
- Excellent verbal communication skills and phone presence
- Ability to handle high call volumes and maintain energy throughout the day
- Experience overcoming objections and managing rejection professionally
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently while reporting to management
- Comfortable working US business hours and following US holiday schedule
