
Key Account Manager

The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing strategic relationships with major clients, particularly in the FMCG – Modern Trade sector, to achieve sales targets, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive business growth. This role requires strong relationship-building, negotiation, and account management skills to maximize revenue and strengthen brand presence in modern trade channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop assigned modern trade accounts to achieve sales and profitability targets.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key clients and decision-makers.
- Understand client needs and develop customized sales strategies.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional activities with modern trade partners.
- Monitor and analyze account performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Identify opportunities for new product listings, promotions, and in-store visibility improvements.
- Prepare and present business reviews and sales reports for management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in Key Account Management handling FMCG – Modern Trade Accounts (e.g., supermarkets, hypermarkets, convenience stores).
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Highly results-driven, organized, and able to work under pressure.
- Willing to travel as needed.
