Job Requirements for HR Manager Position:

Position: HR Manager for a Hotel and Resorts Company

Location: Punta Engaño, Mactan

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Experience in recruitment, talent management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and HR compliance
  • Knowledge of Philippine labor laws and regulations

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and policies to attract, develop, and retain top talent
  • Oversee recruitment efforts and work with hiring managers to ensure a smooth hiring process
  • Manage employee relations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and Philippine labor laws
  • Develop and manage performance management processes, including performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary planning, bonus programs, and employee benefits
  • Develop and implement employee engagement programs and initiatives to increase employee morale and productivity
  • Oversee HRIS systems and ensure accurate and timely data management
  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives
  • Partner with management team to identify and address HR-related issues and opportunities.
