Job description

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) will serve as the primary point of contact for beneficiaries, partners, donors, and the public. The role requires a compassionate and service-oriented individual who can effectively communicate the foundation's mission, address inquiries, and provide support to students and their families. The CSR will ensure that all interactions reflect the foundation's values of empathy, integrity, and commitment to education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for students, parents, and partners seeking assistance.
  • Handle inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism and empathy.
  • Assist in the processing of student applications, documentation, and requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of beneficiary information and communications.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely resolution of requests and concerns.
  • Support the foundation's programs and activities, including events, orientations, and outreach programs.
  • Provide information to donors and partners regarding foundation initiatives and updates.
  • Uphold confidentiality and data privacy in handling student and donor information.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned in line with the foundation's mission.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any 4-year course (preferably in Education, Social Work, Psychology, or related fields).
  • At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in customer service, community development, or foundation/NGO work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Empathetic, patient, and committed to providing quality service.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a small team.
  • Computer literate; proficient in MS Office and email correspondence.
