Logistics Officer

Job Summary
As a Logistics Officer, you will help ensure smooth operations of all logistics activities. You will report directly to the Department Head on the status of the ongoing project deliveries handled by the team, propose, and improve policies and procedures that will ensure effective and efficient service fulfillment. You are primarily responsible for the inbound and outbound delivery of inventories and scheduling of service vehicles.
Key Responsibilities/Duties
- Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation
- Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers
- Participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities of the organization
- Develop delivery schedules and drop shipment strategies
- Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely inbound and outbound delivery of products and services
- Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy
- Coordinating and maintaining fleets and equipment
- Maintaining suitable inventory levels
- Ensure proper maintenance of warehouse equipment and goods
- Provide assistance in warehouse space utilization by designing facility layouts to achieve maximum storage efficiency
- Maintain accurate records and files of inventory usage
- Performs all duties assigned by the Logistics and Warehouse Supervisor or Department Head

Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Candidate must be a graduate of BS Business Administration or any related field
- Proven experience as a Logistics Officer or a similar position
- With strong understanding of the planning, shipping, warehouse management and inventory systems
- Knowledgeable in logistics, importation and warehousing processes

- Must have an excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
- Having a keen eye for detail
- Good organization and planning skills
- Good relationship with internal and external clients

- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Ability to manage work pressure and strict deadlines
