
Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth by expanding the company's market presence, acquiring new clients, and managing key accounts from initial contact through project completion. The ideal candidate is a strategic, results-driven professional with proven experience in the windows, glass, and aluminum industry, skilled in relationship building, negotiation, and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities:1. Business Development & Client Relations
- Develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate new markets and grow the client base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, contractors, developers, and project owners.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and bids tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet and exceed sales and revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for long-term business partnerships and repeat projects.
2. Project Management & Coordination
- Oversee the full project lifecycle—from initial design consultation and measurement to installation and project handover.
- Coordinate with internal teams (design, fabrication, and installation) to ensure deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring clear communication and prompt resolution of any concerns or project challenges.
3. Technical Expertise
- Conduct on-site measurements and assessments for project estimation and technical validation.
- Recommend the most suitable windows, glass, and aluminum system solutions, considering performance, design, and cost-effectiveness.
- Review and interpret architectural drawings, plans, and technical specifications to ensure project accuracy.
- Utilize AutoCAD or similar design software for visualization and coordination with the technical team.
4. Market Analysis & Strategy
- Stay updated on industry trends, pricing movements, and competitor activities within the construction and architectural sectors.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management for product innovation, pricing strategies, and market positioning.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to strengthen the company's visibility and network.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development or project sales within the windows, glass, and aluminum industry is required.
- Strong understanding of façade systems, glazing specifications, and installation processes.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office applications; experience with CRM tools is an advantage.
- Results-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and site inspections.
