Finance & Compliance Officer (Cebu Office-based)

The Finance & Compliance Officer is responsible for managing the company's financial operations and ensuring full adherence to both internal policies and external regulations. This role involves overseeing invoicing, expense tracking, cash flow and forecast reporting, commission and bonus calculations, vendor payments, statutory filings, and coordination for audits and tax submissions. The position also upholds compliance standards in data privacy, corporate governance, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue client invoices while monitoring payment collections and schedules.
- Process vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and operational expenses with accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage monthly cash flow reports, budget forecasts, and financial summaries for management review.
- Coordinate with HR and Operations in the computation of commissions and bonuses.
- Maintain well-organized financial records for audit and statutory filings, ensuring compliance with government requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Monitor compliance with data privacy laws and uphold internal control policies.
- Support process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance financial accuracy, efficiency, and transparency.
Required Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or compliance roles.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, audit preparation, and vendor management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- Sound knowledge of Philippine tax laws, statutory reporting, and data privacy regulations.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Integrity and discretion in managing confidential information.
- Excellent communication and time management abilities.
Proficient With
- Accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar systems.
- Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, and financial modeling).
Experience Advantage
- CPA license or equivalent professional certification.
- Background in corporate compliance or audit coordination.
