About the Role

The Community Relations Officer plays a key role in strengthening Cebu Landmasters Foundation's partnerships with communities, local organizations, and beneficiaries. The role supports the implementation of social development programs, ensures positive stakeholder engagement, and helps advance CLIF's mission of uplifting lives in the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, local government units, NGOs, and partner organizations.
  • Conduct community visits, needs assessments, and beneficiary profiling to support program design and implementation.
  • Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring CSR and community development initiatives (education, housing, livelihood, environment, health & wellness, etc.).
  • Facilitate community meetings, orientations, consultations, and feedback sessions.
  • Coordinate logistics and documentation for outreach events, program launches, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Prepare reports, minutes, and presentations on community-related activities and project progress.
  • Ensure alignment of community activities with the foundation's goals, standards, and impact measurement metrics.
  • Help identify potential community issues and propose solutions or interventions.
  • Strengthen the visibility of CLIF programs through photos, stories, and field documentation.
  • Support administrative tasks related to partner agreements, MOAs, beneficiary lists, and project records.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Community Development, Education, Communications, or related fields.
  • At least 1–2 years experience in community engagement, NGO work, CSR, or development programs (fresh grads with strong volunteer experience may also be considered).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable interacting with communities on the ground.
  • Experience in stakeholder coordination and facilitation is a plus.
  • Organized, proactive, and willing to travel for fieldwork.
  • Ability to document activities through writing, photography, and basic reporting.
  • Passionate about community upliftment and aligned with Cebu Landmasters Foundation's mission.
