The Pre-Sales Engineer is primarily responsible for driving the product positioning and providing technical input from evaluation of the technical requirements of the client and throughout the entire sales cycle.
To succeed in this role, you need to have:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electronic), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Candidate should have at least one year work experience in one or more of the ff. areas in a technical role: virtualization, public or private cloud, server, storage, Windows Server/Linux OS, DevOps (containers, Kubernetes), network and cybersecurity.
- Candidate should have outstanding technical skills, work performance/track record and/or academic achievement.
- Candidate must demonstrate exceptional communications, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Pre-sales experience is an advantage.
- Certifications: VMware VCP, Nutanix NCP, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft AZ-800, CCNA, and similar certifications.
- Candidate must be willing to work in ALVA Business Centre, C. Raymundo Pasig City.
What will you do?
- Serve as the primary technical resource person for the field sales force.
- Responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical adviser and product advocate for his/her assigned products.
- Take all trainings and pass all certifications required for the assigned product.
- Work closely with assigned Product Manager to help in the submission of reports required.
- Present assigned product technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.
- Identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.
