Job Summary:
The Solutions Architect plays a critical role in bridging the gap between customer requirements and technology solutions. Working closely with the Sales and Technical teams, the Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, proposing, and delivering comprehensive and scalable IT, Voice, Applications, and Networking solutions that align with client objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Sales team to understand client requirements and provide the appropriate technical solutions across various domains, including voice, applications, and networking.
- Lead the technical scoping, solution design, and provisioning of tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
- Conduct and facilitate technical presentations, solution walk-throughs, and Proof of Concept (POC) sessions together with the technical team to demonstrate feasibility and value.
- Generate Bill of Materials (BOM), network diagrams, and system designs using partner and principal tools and templates.
- Provide cost-effective solution recommendations, including up-selling and cross-selling opportunities, aligned with client needs and business goals.
- Prepare and review project bidding documents, including technical specifications, Terms of Reference (TOR), Requests for Information (RFI), and Requests for Proposal (RFP).
- Develop technical documentation, solution overviews, and product write-ups required for proposals.
- Compile and assemble complete technical packages including datasheets, network architecture, compliance matrices, and technical diagrams.
- Attend client meetings, pre-bid conferences, and bidding events to gather detailed requirements and ensure accurate technical responses.
- Liaise with technology principals, vendors, and partners for support, pricing, and clarification on product-related concerns.
- Coordinate with the Post-Sales and Project Implementation teams to ensure proper knowledge transfer, alignment, and readiness for project execution.
- Participate in internal project turnover meetings to ensure smooth transition from Pre-Sales to Delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science, or any related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in Pre-Sales, Solutions Architecture, or Systems Engineering, preferably in the IT or Telecommunications industry.
- Strong background in designing enterprise IT solutions including network infrastructure, voice, and application systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficient in technical documentation and proposal development.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic and client-facing environment.
- Vendor certifications (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, Fortinet, etc.) are an advantage.
