Job Summary: The Technical Sales Engineer will play a critical role in driving the sales process by providing technical expertise and support to our sales team and clients. This role involves understanding customer requirements, designing solutions, and presenting technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify customer needs and requirements.
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Design and propose data center solutions that meet customer specifications and business goals.
  • Provide technical support and guidance throughout the sales cycle, including responding to RFPs/RFIs.
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather information for solution design.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Assist in the development of sales strategies and proposals.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical sales or similar role, preferably in the data center or IT infrastructure industry.
  • Strong understanding of  data center technologies and solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to design and architect data center solutions.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
