About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Crating Crew Leader / Carpenter Lead to oversee crating and carpentry operations on-site. The role involves conducting surveys, preparing reports, supervising manpower, and ensuring the safe and efficient completion of crating jobs according to client requirements and company standards.

This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, experienced in carpentry or crating work, and capable of leading a team in fast-paced project environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct job site surveys and prepare detailed reports on required tools, equipment, materials, manpower, and work duration.
  • Compute dimensions and weights using the metric system for accurate crate measurements.
  • Supervise and instruct manpower on the proper use of electrical and carpentry tools.
  • Prepare tools, equipment, and materials needed for job execution.
  • Monitor manpower performance before, during, and after job completion.
  • Report any accidents or incidents at the site promptly.
  • Prepare and submit completion reports signed by the client.
  • Prepare service reports for manpower and document actual material usage and crate measurements.

Reporting Lines

Reports directly to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

  • TESDA Certificate holder (Carpentry or related trade preferred)
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles
  • Multi-skilled in carpentry, crating, and site supervision
  • At least 1 year of related experience preferred

Required Skills & Training

  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Certificate in Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH)
  • Basic computer operation (for report preparation)
  • Leadership and organizational skills
  • Can work under pressure and with minimal supervision
