Inside Sales Executive

We are looking for a driven and customer-oriented Inside Sales Executive to join our Commercial team. The role is responsible for generating leads, managing client relationships, and supporting the overall sales process through inbound and outbound efforts. You will play a key part in achieving sales targets and expanding business opportunities within the shipping and logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and qualify new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls, emails, and cold outreach.
  • Communicate with potential and existing customers to understand their needs, provide information, and identify sales opportunities.
  • Route qualified leads to appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
  • Research and analyze accounts to identify key players and decision-makers.
  • Maintain and expand a database of current and potential customers.
  • Prepare, file, and update rates and other sales-related information in the system.
  • Collaborate with channel partners to build pipelines and close deals.
  • Explain and demonstrate the company's products and services effectively to prospects.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and industry developments.
  • Upsell and cross-sell relevant products and services to maximize revenue.
  • Close sales and consistently achieve assigned sales targets.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Key Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, ideally within the shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics industry.
  • Strong understanding of shipping operations, logistics workflows, and supply chain management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong client management skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships
