Work Setup: Hybrid (3x onsite, 2x WFH)

Note: First 1–2 months are purely onsite

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Officer to oversee financial closing activities, manage accounting and reporting services, and ensure compliance with established policies and standards. This role plays a crucial part in producing accurate and timely financial reports for key business stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee month-end, quarter-end, hard close, and year-end closing processes for the Accounting and Reporting Team.
  • Manage the delivery of accounting and reporting services performed by the Record-to-Report (R2R) unit of the shared service center.
  • Review and publish internal and external financial reports for management and stakeholder review.
  • Update accounting-related policies, including:
  • Cash advances
  • Benefits and expense liquidations
  • Expense reimbursements
  • Credit card, mobile phone, and travel policies
  • Ensure financial reports comply with applicable standards, regulations, and principles, accurately reflecting the company's financial position.
  • Support strong corporate stewardship and continuous improvement of accounting processes.

QualificationsMust-Haves

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • 3–4 years of relevant work experience (mix of public + private experience is acceptable)
  • SAP experience (required)
  • At least 2 years of experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Strong knowledge of key accounting processes:
  • Financial Reporting
  • External Audit
  • Month-end / Quarter-end / Year-end Closing
  • Accounting policy updates and reviews (cash advances, benefits, liquidation handling)
