Position: Accounting & Administrative Officer
Job Summary
The Accounting & Administrative Officer will handle daily bookkeeping, financial documentation, basic tax compliance support, and general administrative tasks. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with strong organizational skills who is willing to learn and grow with the company.
I. Education
- Preferably a graduate of one of the Philippines' recognized top universities, including:
- University of the Philippines (UP)
- Ateneo de Manila University
- De La Salle University
- University of Santo Tomas (UST)
- Academic Background: Preferably holds a bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Office Administration, Secretarial Studies, or related fields.
II. Work Experience Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience working in a major company as a secretary, administrative assistant, or in a related role.
- Must be able to provide documentation or proof of past work responsibilities or achievements.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance
- Record daily transactions and maintain organized financial records
- Prepare expense reports, payment vouchers, and reimbursement forms
- Assist with BIR requirements (2307, VAT preparation, expanded withholding tax, etc.)
- Coordinate with external CPA for monthly and annual tax filings
- Manage invoices, receipts, and documentation for company expenses
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow records
Administrative Support
- Maintain company files, records, and corporate documents
- Assist in preparing contracts, letters, reports, and presentations
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, and company communications
- Support procurement, vendor coordination, and office supply management
- Handle basic HR-related tasks such as timekeeping and employee records
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Basic accounting or finance knowledge
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and financial record-keeping
- Understanding of BIR requirements and tax compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Ability to multitask and work under minimal supervision
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php30, Php50,000.00 per month
