Job Description:

Assists the HR Head in providing strategic HR services to the employees of the College.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Screens potential applicants and classifies, sorts, and files their resumé applications for active filing and further evaluation.

  2. Checks the compliance of new employees on pre-employment requirements by reviewing all submitted documents to make sure all necessary employee information and documentation are complete for the timely processing of salaries, benefits and HR reports (e.g. manpower headcount, faculty loading, PAASCU Reports, etc.)

  3. Facilitates the processing or cancellation of appropriate employee benefits upon the employee's deployment, change of status, promotion, application for benefits availment, or resignation in accordance with the existing policies and procedures to ensure the fulfillment of the employee's contract of employment.

  4. Encodes and sorts all daily time records related application forms such as leaves, official business, off-set, work schedule adjustment, etc. to the HR Information System for the accurate daily time record report generation.

  5. Prepares the semi-monthly absences and semi-monthly overtime summary reports based on the generated daily time record reports for payroll purposes.

  6. Assists the employees with regards to their inquiries by call, e-mail and personalvisit to guide them properly on HR matters.

  7. Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Human Resource.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of HR experience, including internship experience; open to fresh graduates (preferably with exposure to an educational institution)
  • Solid knowledge of labor laws and school HR policies
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and record‑keeping skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with staff and faculty
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and HR Information Systems (HRIS)
