Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve high-level network issues (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, ZTNA).
  • Configure and troubleshoot network devices (switches, routers, access points, firewalls).
  • Perform VLAN, routing, subnetting, and network security configurations.
  • Manage backup, restoration, and maintenance of network equipment.
  • Conduct network and communication project design, cost estimates, and implementation.
  • Provide technical recommendations for network and ELV system improvements.
  • Maintain and enhance network security policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Perform vulnerability remediation with MXDR and MISD personnel.
  • Provide after-hours and weekend support for critical/high-severity issues.
  • Maintain 97% service desk resolution ratio.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or any IT related courses.
  • 1-2 years' relevant experience.
  • Experience in the installation and maintenance of horizontal cross connects, telecommunications outlet, optical networks and other connecting hardware
  • Knowledge in drafting telecommunications distribution plan
  • Knowledgeable in using computer-aided drafting software
  • Advance knowledge and skills in network equipment configuration and firewall troubleshooting
  • Familiar in network subnetting, Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN), inter-VLAN, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), routing, security, and other network equipment commands and features
  • Certification in network, security, and system administration.
  • Experience in configuring and maintaining Windows/Linux server roles and functions such as DHCP, DNS, AD, WSUS, Proxy, etc.
