Community Leasing is seeking a Bookeeper to support our growing team and platform We are seeking an experienced CPA & Bookkeeper to take full ownership of our financial operations and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our bookkeeping.

Community Leasing is the only leasing agency focused exclusively on affordable housing in Los Angeles.

  • CPA Certification
  • Experience: 5+ years in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial management, ideally in real estate, property management, or leasing.
  • Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online, invoicing platforms, and Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Detail-Oriented & Highly Organized: Ability to manage multiple financial tasks and deadlines accurately.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Comfortable working with landlords, vendors, and internal teams on financial matters.
  • Real Estate & Leasing Experience (Preferred): Understanding of leasing business accounting, tenant payments, and voucher-based rent processing.

Responsibilities

  • Full-Service Accounting: Oversee all bookkeeping and accounting functions for our leasing business.
  • Accounts Receivable (AR): Generate invoices, track payments, and manage collections for overdue balances.
  • Accounts Payable (AP): Process vendor and contractor payments, ensure timely disbursements, and maintain accurate records.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Perform regular reconciliations for bank accounts and credit cards to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Expense Categorization & Tracking: Accurately classify transactions and monitor expenditures.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Tax Preparation & Compliance: Maintain tax records, assist in tax filings, and coordinate with external tax professionals as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and refine financial processes to improve efficiency and compliance.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Php Php650.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
