  1. Major Responsibility:

Responsible to monitor and manage inventory levels, recommend product strategies for optimal stock movement. Acts as an intermediary of brand team to coordinate inventory concerns with warehouse department.

This position reports directly to the Brand Marketing Manager and works hand in hand with Brand marketing associates on a day-to-day basis.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

  • Oversee and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock of imported products.
  • Monitor aging items to identify slow-moving stock and recommend actions (e.g., company-initiated clearance Activities like Mardi Gras, bulk orders etc).
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve inventory turnover and reduce holding costs.
  • Monitor merchandise sell through and recommend items subject for re-order
  • Prepare weekly inventory report, identifying sell thru and inventory level of merchandise
  • Identify product SKUs that are slow moving, recommend which items are for client re-order, for sale events, e-commerce, or for employee sale
  • Inventory Accuracy- Assess the accuracy of inventory counts in the SAP system compared to actual stock levels. High accuracy indicates effective inventory audits.
  • Day to day coordination with warehouse department for updates on inventory movement and deliveries.
  • Regular warehouse visits, at least once a week for random inventory inspection checking if actual stocks match stock levels from system.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to coordinate activities and share insights in terms of deliveries, inventory movement and documentations
  • Secure and manage shared file folder of Receiving reports, delivery receipts, purchase order and invoices.

MERCHANDISING

  • Return Rate to Vendor (RTV)- Monitor the percentage of items returned to vendors due to defects or wrong orders, aiming for a low return rate.
  • Monitor re-delivery of items from RTV recovery, collaborate with Supply Chain & Warehouse to ensure good items are sold back to clients.
  • Assist the Brand Marketing Manager in preparation of sampling / buying schedules of client
  • Coordinates inventory of samples with the support team
  • Close collaboration with Support Team, Merchandising, Accounting and Warehouse Department on a day-to-day basis

DATA ANALYTICS

  • Analyze and report data of inventory & delivery fulfillment to the Brand Marketing team
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track team performance on PO fulfillment rate, stock levels and re-order forecast
  • Prepare clear and impactful presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint/Canva to communicate findings and recommendations to the Brand Marketing Manager.
  • Collaborate with the Brand Marketing team to identify trends, risks, and opportunities based on data analysis.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reports and dashboards.
  • Continuously improve data collection and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Prepares sales report from time to time, in support to Brand Manager for business review & client meetings
  • Must be flexible in accepting assignments and directions, each of which can change to meet the needs of the business at any time.
