Job Summary

The Engineering Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Engineering team to ensure the delivery of accurate, high-quality, and timely engineering outputs for both pre-sales and project execution activities. This role includes supervising bid preparation, assisting in cost estimates, ensuring compliance with design and technical standards, and supporting smooth project handovers. The Engineering Supervisor will also promote continuous improvement and adherence to industry best practices in all engineering activities.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Supervision & Coordination

  • Supervise, guide, and support junior engineers and staff in daily tasks and project deliverables.
  • Assign tasks and monitor progress to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to promote professional growth and performance improvement.

Bidding & Pre-Sales Support

  • Coordinate site inspections, bid conferences, and assist in preparing bid proposals.
  • Review bid documents for accuracy of quantities, unit costs, and calculations.
  • Ensure all technical drawings, designs, and documents are properly checked, compiled, and submitted within deadlines.
  • Maintain updated cost references and assist in developing competitive proposals.

Project Kick-Off & Handover

  • Assist in project kick-off meetings to ensure proper knowledge transfer to project teams.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers to clarify design intent, technical specifications, and scope of work.
  • Ensure all technical documentation is complete and accurate before turnover.

Quality & Technical Compliance

  • Ensure that engineering practices follow company standards, industry codes, and technological advancements.
  • Monitor quality of outputs and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Recommend improvements to processes, materials, and tools to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Licensed Civil Engineer.
  • Additional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRC License) are an advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5–7 years in the construction industry, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or lead engineer role.
  • Experience in bid preparation, cost estimation, and technical project handovers is required.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills with a focus on team collaboration.
  • Solid technical knowledge in construction engineering, estimation, and project planning.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and quality control.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in engineering software (AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.) and MS Office applications.

Work Schedule

  • Compressed Work Week:
  • Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Availability: Can start immediately.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php30, Php40,000.00 per month
