Role Overview
We are looking for a driven and strategic Sales Development Lead who will play a critical role in expanding Helpware's client base and fueling business growth. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is skilled in lead generation and relationship nurturing, and enjoys collaborating across marketing, sales, and operations teams. Scope of Work
The Sales Development Lead will oversee the full lifecycle of lead management—from prospect identification and qualification to nurturing and conversion support. This role serves as a critical bridge between Marketing and Sales, ensuring high-quality leads are generated, tracked, and moved efficiently through the pipeline. It also involves coordinating outreach strategies, managing CRM data integrity, and optimizing sales processes to improve performance and productivity.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead Generation and Prospecting
- Conduct outbound and inbound outreach (calls, emails, and digital channels) to prospective clients to introduce Helpware's CX, Tech, and Media solutions.
- Research target accounts and decision-makers to personalize outreach strategies.
- Qualify leads based on ideal customer profile (ICP), industry, company size, and potential revenue.
- Manage and prioritize a steady flow of leads while ensuring consistent pipeline health.
Sales Operations and Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records of all leads, activities, and communications.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports tracking lead progress, conversion rates, and pipeline status.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Presales to align lead qualification criteria and outreach priorities.
- Use data-driven insights to refine outreach strategies and improve lead-to-opportunity ratios.
Campaign and Marketing Collaboration
- Support the execution of marketing campaigns through lead follow-up, email nurturing, and event engagement.
- Partner with Marketing on content distribution, social media promotion, and targeted campaigns.
- Provide feedback from prospect interactions to help improve marketing messaging and positioning.
Stakeholder and Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Foster strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
- Partner with leadership to identify new market opportunities and refine go-to-market strategies.
- Contribute to team development by mentoring SDRs or junior Sales Development staff when applicable.
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Development, lead generation, or sales development—preferably within a BPO, SaaS, or CX environment.
- Established and results-driven sales professional with experience handling complex, multi-step sales processes.
- Works independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability for targets and timelines.
- Demonstrated ability to manage moderate to complex lead-generation projects requiring coordination across teams.
- Exercises sound judgment within defined sales procedures and company policies to drive outcomes.
- Strong communication and persuasion skills; able to influence others through clear explanation of facts, strategies, and best practices.
- Skilled in using CRM platforms and sales tools to manage pipelines, track performance, and report on progress.
- Capable of resolving diverse issues by applying company standards, data insights, and cross-functional input.
- Receives general guidance but demonstrates initiative and ownership in executing daily responsibilities.
- Maintains accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of sales documentation, client communication, and reporting.
- Consults with senior or specialist team members on complex or technical matters when necessary, ensuring alignment and consistency.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred but not required.
This role reports directly to the Director of Presales Solutions and Sales Enablement
