Equilibrium Engineering is a specialized fire and life safety service provider committed to ensuring full compliance with the Fire Code of the Philippines (RA 9514) and NFPA standards. Our team actively collaborates with industry organizations such as PIFPO and PSME FPTD, and we take pride in educating clients and their personnel on proper fire protection practices.

We are looking for a Fire & Life Safety Mechanical Engineer who is passionate, detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring compliance with The Fire Code of the Philippines (RA9514), NFPA standards, and Other applicable standards. The ideal candidate will support our engineering team in preparing technical documentation, conducting code reviews, and overseeing actual site implementation of fire and life safety systems.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare code and standards documentation, including NFPA-based requirements, RA 9514 (Fire Code of the Philippines), and other applicable regulations
  2. Generate technical reports, drawings, and presentations for internal and client submissions.
  3. Conduct code and standard reviews for all Fire & Life Safety Systems.
  4. Assist in project execution and site implementation, ensuring compliance with approved designs in accordance with the code & standards.
  5. Support inspections, testing, and commissioning activities for fire and life safety systems.
  6. Maintain organized documentation and provide periodic progress updates.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Mechanical Engineer
  • Female applicants are encouraged to apply
  • Fresh graduates are welcome; training will be provided (Experience in fire protection, HVAC, or life safety systems is an advantage)
  • Knowledge of NFPA standards, RA 9514, and related regulations is preferred
  • Proficient in technical report writing and documentation
  • Willing to conduct site visits and field implementation
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work independently
  • Committed and reliable, with a strong sense of accountability
