Position Overview

As the Chief Engineer of Cevio Hotel, you are the guardian of reliability ensuring that every system, space, and service works seamlessly. From pre-opening setup to ongoing maintenance, you will lead all engineering operations to uphold safety, efficiency, and guest comfort. You'll manage technical teams, systems installations, and sustainability programs, making sure that Cevio's facilities reflect its promise: dependable, efficient, and quietly exceptional.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all pre-opening technical preparations utility connections, equipment testing, preventive maintenance plans, and contractor coordination.

  • Manage day-to-day hotel maintenance operations, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire safety systems.

  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules that ensure uninterrupted guest comfort and operational efficiency.

  • Oversee compliance with government and safety regulations (BFP, DENR, DOLE, and LGU).

  • Coordinate with third-party vendors, suppliers, and contractors for installation and repair projects.

  • Monitor energy consumption and implement efficiency initiatives to align with Cevio's sustainability standards.

  • Ensure proper maintenance documentation, asset tracking, and equipment inventory.

  • Train and mentor the engineering team in safety, troubleshooting, and service reliability.

  • Collaborate with the GM and Finance Manager on capital planning, project budgeting, and lifecycle cost management.
