Job Summary

The IT Manager ensures the effective management of the property's IT infrastructure and hospitality systems, with a strong focus on network reliability and hotel system integration. The role is responsible for maintaining PMS, POS, CRS, Channel Manager, and other core applications while ensuring seamless connectivity, cybersecurity, and guest-facing technologies. With both technical expertise and hospitality knowledge, the IT Manager supports operational efficiency, data security, and enhances the guest digital experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

Network & Infrastructure Management

  • Design, maintain, and optimize resort network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPNs).
  • Monitor guest and staff internet stability, ensuring strong coverage across property.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network and server issues to minimize downtime.

Hospitality System Oversight

  • Manage PMS, POS, CRM, Channel Manager, and OTA integrations.
  • Ensure data accuracy and smooth synchronization between hotel systems.
  • Provide training and support to staff on hotel technology platforms.

System Security & Data Privacy

  • Implement firewalls, anti-virus, and data security measures.
  • Ensure compliance with the Data Privacy Act and corporate IT policies.
  • Perform regular audits of system access, backups, and recovery plans.

Innovation & Digital Guest Experience

  • Support projects such as mobile check-in, keyless entry, self-service kiosks.
  • Recommend IT solutions that enhance guest convenience and operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated with emerging hospitality tech trends (AI chatbots, IoT, smart rooms).

Vendor & Budget Management

  • Negotiate with technology suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
  • Manage IT CAPEX/OPEX budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee licensing, subscriptions, and system maintenance contracts.

Team & Training

  • Supervise IT officers or support staff, ensuring efficient helpdesk operations.
  • Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions for hotel employees.
  • Foster a service-oriented IT culture aligned with guest experience goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of IT experience, with 2+ years in hospitality IT management.
  • Strong expertise in network management, hotel PMS/POS systems, and OTA integrations.
  • Certifications in networking (Cisco, CompTIA Network+), system administration, or ITIL are an advantage.
  • Knowledge of data privacy, IT compliance, and cybersecurity standards.

Skills & Competencies

  • Advanced knowledge of networking (routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi solutions).
  • Proficiency in hotel systems (PMS, POS, Channel Manager, CRM).
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and vendor negotiation skills.
  • Ability to balance technical expertise with hospitality service culture.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php65, Php70,000.00 per month
