We are the shared services arm of OMRON, dedicated to delivering exceptional support across our global operations. We are currently seeking a motivated professional to join our shared services team, where you will work with an international team to enhance our operational efficiency.

As an IT Support Specialist, you will be part of a collaborative IT team responsible for maintaining the day-to-day functionality of our IT systems and supporting end users across the business. This role involves a mix of network support, system configuration, and hands-on assistance with devices and applications, ensuring smooth and efficient IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:


• Provide first-level support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals.


• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime.


• Guide and train users on the use of systems, applications, and collaboration tools.


• Maintain and update asset inventories and documentation.


• Assist with onboarding and offboarding of users, including account setup and equipment provisioning.


• Assist in configuring, maintaining, and monitoring local area networks (LAN), VPNs, and wireless networks.


• Support network infrastructure such as routers, switches, firewalls, and servers under the supervision of senior engineers.


• Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability of IT services.


• Assist in deploying and maintaining cloud-based solutions and services (e.g., Office 365, Azure, etc.).


• Participate in the implementation and support of IT projects, including upgrades and migrations.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.


• Basic knowledge of networking (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and IT systems.


• Familiarity with Windows environments, Office 365, and common enterprise tools.


• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.


• A proactive and customer-focused mindset, with a willingness to learn and grow in both infrastructure and support areas.
