About the role
We are seeking a highly experienced Service Manager to join our team in Cebu City. As a Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance and repair of our fleet of armored vehicles, ensuring they are always in top condition and ready for our mission-critical operations.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the service department, including scheduling, prioritizing, and assigning work to technicians
- Inspect and diagnose issues with our armored vehicles, and develop effective repair and maintenance plans
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities are completed to the highest standards and within the required timeframes
- Liaise with parts suppliers and other vendors to ensure the timely availability of necessary components
- Monitor and report on the performance and efficiency of the service department, identifying areas for improvement
- Provide technical guidance and support to the technicians, and facilitate their professional development
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, regulatory, and company policies
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Service Manager or equivalent role in the automotive industry, preferably with experience in the maintenance and repair of armored vehicles
- Strong technical knowledge and expertise in the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team of technicians, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment, as well as relevant software applications
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and standards in the automotive industry
