Power BI Embedded, Power Apps & API Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Embedded, Power Apps & API Specialist to build scalable BI solutions, customer portals, and automation tools for our clients.

Your first major project will be to develop a customer-facing portal integrated with HaloPSA, embedding interactive Power BI dashboards and enabling secure client reporting and data access. From there, you'll work on a growing pipeline of Power Platform and automation projects across multiple industries.

This role is ideal for someone who loves transforming data into beautiful experiences, building automation, and integrating platforms via APIs.


What You'll Do

Power BI

  • Build interactive Power BI dashboards & datasets
  • Deploy & manage Power BI Embedded environments
  • Manage RLS, data security, and workspace governance
  • Ensure performance, refresh optimisation, and user experience excellence
  • Support BI adoption and user enablement

Power Apps & Automation

  • Build custom business applications using Power Apps
  • Design and deploy Power Automate workflows
  • Integrate systems and automate processes

API & Data Integrations

  • Connect apps, SaaS systems, and databases via API
  • Build secure, documented API workflows
  • Work with JSON, webhooks, connectors and REST APIs

Customer Portal Development

  • Build customer-facing portal experiences
  • Integrate Power BI Embedded with HaloPSA
  • Implement secure authentication and user access control

You're a Great Fit If You Have
  • Strong experience with Power BI (incl. Embedded)
  • Minimum 2-3 years of proven Power BI experience including Power BI Embedded
  • Experience building Power Apps
  • Minimum 2+ years of Power Apps development experience creating custom business applications
  • Hands-on API integration experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on API integration experience working with REST APIs and system integrations
  • Strong understanding of RLS, governance, datasets, and BI security
  • Excellent spoken and written English (client-facing role)
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

Nice-to-Have (Not Required)
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 admin (Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID)
  • Knowledge of SQL and DAX at advanced level
  • Familiarity with HaloPSA or other PSA/ERP/CRM platforms
