PORT & LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

(With exposure to port operations and barging logistics)

Position Overview

Planters Aggregates, Inc., a growing player in the aggregates industry, is looking for a Port & Logistics Coordinator to oversee and manage the smooth flow of port-side and barging operations. The ideal candidate has strong coordination, documentation, and logistics management skills, with proven experience in port or marine logistics.

You will play a key role in ensuring efficient and timely loading, dispatch, and movement of materials via barges while coordinating with port authorities, logistics partners, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

Port & Barging Operations

  • Coordinate daily port logistics, including barge loading schedules, dispatch, and docking arrangements.
  • Monitor barge operations, turnaround time, and ensure efficiency in loading/unloading of materials.
  • Conduct actual monitoring at the port and prepare daily logistics status reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and port regulations during operations.

Documentation & Coordination

  • Maintain accurate records of barge loading, shipment volumes, dispatch documents, and Bill of Lading.
  • Coordinate with port authorities, vessel operators, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Process permits, certifications, and operational documentation related to barging and port activities.

Logistics Planning & Control

  • Prepare logistics forecasts, shipment schedules, and barge capacity planning.
  • Address logistical issues proactively and recommend solutions to avoid delays.
  • Support cost monitoring of port and logistics operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php17, Php19,000.00 per month
