RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assign daily delivery and pick-up schedules to company drivers based on priority and availability.
  • Ensure proper documentation (waybills, delivery receipts, permits) is ready before dispatch.
  • Monitor the status of deliveries in real-time and provide updates to internal teams and customers.
  • Monitor and track cargo status to ensure timely delivery to final destinations.
  • Re-route or adjust assignments as needed due to delays, emergencies, or client changes.
  • Handle unexpected issues such as traffic, vehicle breakdowns, or delivery concerns by coordinating support.
  • Work with shipping lines to schedule and track vessels, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
  • Communicate delivery status and delays proactively to clients and the operations team. Assign daily delivery and pick-up schedules to company drivers based on priority and availability.
  • Coordinate the movement of cargo within the port facility, including loading, unloading, and transshipment operations.
  • Log all dispatch activities accurately, including vehicle assignments, ETAs, and completion of deliveries.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including shipping agents, truckers, customs officers, and terminal operators.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations within the port facility.
  • File and organize driver trip reports and delivery documents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least High school diploma or associate degree preferred.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in logistics and knowledgeable in dispatching, or fleet coordination (preferred in trucking or freight forwarding).
  • Familiarity with route planning, GPS tracking, and basic delivery documentation.
  • Experience with port management systems, cargo tracking software, or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and respond quickly to changing situations.
  • Knowledge of truck types, cargo handling procedures, and road regulations is a plus.
  • Excellent strategic, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong sense of responsibility and urgency; ability to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Willing to be assigned in Malabon.
  • Can start as soon as possible
