About the role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our dynamic team. In this role based in Naga City, Cebu, you will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive document management systems to support our project. As a Document Controller, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless flow of information and documentation, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and maintain a centralized document control system to store, track and distribute project-related documents
  2. Review, process and distribute various documents such as drawings, specifications, transmittals, and requests for information (RFIs)
  3. Coordinate with project team members to ensure timely and accurate document distribution, tracking and archiving
  4. Implement and enforce document control procedures to maintain the integrity and security of project documentation
  5. Provide support in document retrieval, reproduction and distribution as needed
  6. Assist in the preparation and submission of project progress reports and other documentation
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements for document control

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Document Controller in construction or engineering projects.
  • Knowledge of construction terminology and project documentation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and EDMS platforms (Aconex, Procore, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 document control requirements.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
