Job Description:

Implement Policies, System and Procedures in the Branch relative to the collection of receivables.

Collect branch's accounts receivables and/or other debts owed to Sumisho through effective accounts management (i.e. monitoring of delinquent accounts and assigning them to Field Collectors for collection).

Supervise, train, coach and develop a team of Collectors (i.e. In-House Collections Staff and Field Collectors) in the assigned branch to ensure individual KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and branch's monthly collections target are met or exceeded.

Collections Administration

a. Check CAMS (Collection and Assets Management System) in the aging bucket.

b. Monitor daily collections through the DCR (Daily Collection Report) System and Field Visits Reports.

c. Collate all documents, prepare all reports and recommendations as to succeeding action/s needed for specific accounts.

d. Receive over-the-counter loan payments.

e. Encode payments in the DCR (Daily Collection Report) system for monitoring.

f. Conduct investigation for accounts referred by Call Center Staff via CAMS / E-Mail.

g. Endorse collection assistance to Field Collector for Skip / Tracing of accounts.

h. Handle review and escalation of delinquent accounts with broken promises from In-House Collections Specialist and Field Specialist.

i. Issue IR/memo to erring collections staff,

j. File and attend SCC hearing and mediations.

Team Supervision and Capability Development

a. Monitor the performance of collections personnel including but are not limited to meeting and coaching collections staff on a regular basis to reinforce strengths and identify opportunities for improvement.

b. Review accounts endorsed for field collection and assign accounts to Field Specialist based on their respective areas.

c. Supervise team in performing day-to-day activities and ensure deadlines and requirements are met.

d. Undertake planning and implementation of strategic approaches in the collections.

e. Coach and motivate team to peak performance.

f. Monitor and evaluate performance of team.

g. Ensure growth and development of team by sending them to training and other development activities.

Asset Control

a. Secure needed documents and schedule of securing unit or pull-out in case of voluntary surrender with the coordination to customer and/or assistant of authority.

b. Assign delinquent accounts for repossession.

c. Assist Field Specialist in pull-out or repossession of motorcycle unit and turnover unit to warehouse.

d. Checks accuracy of Motorcycle Inspection Report submitted by FCS or TPSP.

Reports and Accountabilities

a. Submit reports as scheduled.

b. Perform other related functions that may be assigned by the Collections Division Head or Area Head as needed.
