Responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of Patient Safety Program, in compliance with the Department of Health (DOH) Administrative Order (AO) No. "National Policy on Patient Safety in Health Facilities". Undertake special projects as requested by Management and provide ad hoc support to other departments, in relation to Patient Safety Programs. Responsible in documenting, researching, and monitoring hospital site conditions, practices, and procedures for compliance with environmental and safety requirements. Skill in developing and maintaining interpersonal relationships with a wide variety of healthcare professionals and hospital leadership. Knowledge of care processes in a hospital setting. Knowledge of patient safety principles, methods, procedures and techniques. Knowledge and application of process improvement tools and techniques (statistical process control tools and team tools.) Knowledge of regulatory and accrediting standards as they apply to patient safety. Ability to administer patient safety programs and develop patient safety standards to meet specific work situations. Ability to interpret, apply and enforce patient safety rules, regulations and other program guidelines. Ability to identify and define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions and evidence patient safety initiatives by means of measurable results. Perform the other duties and responsibility that maybe assigned from time to time. Qualifications Must be graduate of BS Nursing or any allied health courses. Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) certified License/Certification: PRC ID (Preferred) #J-18808-Ljbffr
