I. Job Summary

Manages the assigned sales distribution channel so that all objectives and targets assigned for the year are achieved.

II. Duties and Responsibilities

1. Sales Production

a. Identifies critical success factors of the sales channel and ensure that these factors are present at all times

Developer Accreditation
– Maintenance and growth of existing developer partners. Tapping new developer partners for sales channel expansion and growth.

Training and Development
– Coach and mentor the sales channel and Marketing Assistants in terms of product knowledge, selling and servicing skills.

b. Identifies the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats that the sales channel is subjected to. To recommend sales strategies for the channel to the Department/Consumer Group Head. To effectively implement these approved sales strategies.

2. Sales Management and Operations

a. Effectively monitors and maintain (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.) Production Reports to be able to recalibrate strategies if necessary

b. Ensures that all processes/transactions/decisions adhere to credit principles, Bank policies, and government regulations

c. Ensures that service levels (turnaround times) are met and consistently tested for possible improvement

d. Develops an effective line of communication with the sales force in the channel

e. Provides complete information of the approved loan details and its terms and conditions to the Loan Applicant by sending a formal quotation to the applicant's registered email address. Moreover, the Terms and Conditions shall also be discussed to the Loan Applicant through phone call.

f. Accommodates client inquiries regarding the details of the financing arrangement set and agreed between the developer and the loan applicant.

g. Ensures efficient monitoring of the DOU of all booked home loans of the assigned developer accounts until transmittal of collateral documents are completed. In addition, to send timely Reminder and Demand Letters when necessary.

III. Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of Home Loans sales experience; can handle all sales channels - developers, branches and brokers; can easily adapt in using any branch system for consumer loans; highly mindful of compliance procedures especially on Home Loan legal documents
  • Teamplayer; self-starter, courteous/people person, positive disposition, innate service orientation, sharp when it comes to attention to details/documents
  • Excellent oral/written/presentation skills; sales/customer handling; highly organized and always able to follow through; able to multi-task and yet can deliver results
