What is your mission?

We are looking for a Senior U.S. Bookkeeper to handle full-cycle bookkeeping for U.S.-based clients. This role involves managing accounts payable/receivable, reconciling financial data, preparing reports, ensuring tax compliance, and overseeing payroll. You will also provide financial analysis, review accounting work, and mentor junior staff. If you have strong experience with QuickBooks, U.S. GAAP, and tax compliance, this role offers the opportunity to take on a leadership-level bookkeeping position.

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Manage end-to-end bookkeeping for U.S.-based clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Use QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online (QBO) to maintain financial records.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial data.
  • Prepare P&L statements, balance sheets, and financial reports.
  • Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with U.S. tax and labor laws.
  • Perform financial analysis and reporting before and after book closing.
  • Collaborate with accountants and management to provide financial data for decision-making.
  • Validate, review, and provide feedback on accounting and tax work.
  • Mentor junior bookkeeping staff and assist in training and onboarding.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all financial data.
Who are we looking for?
  • Minimum of 3 years U.S. bookkeeping experience (REQUIRED).
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, payroll processes, and tax compliance.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online (QBO).
  • Skilled in Microsoft 365 Suite, especially Excel.
  • Experience in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to handle end-to-end bookkeeping (AP/AR, reconciliations, payroll, reporting).
  • Previous experience in mentoring or reviewing junior staff's work preferred.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical.
