We are looking for a Senior Accountant with Australian experience to lead and support a team of accountants and bookkeepers. The ideal candidate has extensive technical knowledge of Australian taxation, superannuation, and financial reporting, with experience preparing financial statements and tax returns for various entities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proven Australian accounting experience is a must
  • Skilled in MYOB, Xero, Xero Practice Manager, Class Super, and ATO portal.
  • Expertise in all aspects of Australian taxation, including FBT, GST, CGT, Division 7A, and non-commercial loss rules.
  • CPA or CA preferred but not required.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management skills.
  • Excellent English communication and comprehension skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and review work of Junior to Senior Accountants and Bookkeepers.
  • Prepare and review Australian financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and self-managed superannuation funds.
  • Apply tax strategies, ensure compliance, and oversee complex accounting tasks.
  • Assist Senior Client Manager with strategic client support and technical guidance.
