Key Responsibilities

Strategic Market Analysis:

  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, market gaps, and opportunities that align with Maxicare's corporate strategy.
  • Evaluate potential business development opportunities in both existing and new markets, including geographic expansions, product diversification, and customer segments.
  • Continuously assess market dynamics, customer needs, and regulatory changes to ensure that Maxicare remains ahead of industry shifts.

Partnership Development & Management:

  • Identify, negotiate, and establish new business opportunities, strategic partnerships with external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, corporate clients, and technology partners.
  • Develop and manage long-term relationships with key partners to enhance Maxicare's service offerings and expand its market presence.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Legal, Finance, Operations) to ensure partnership agreements meet business objectives and comply with regulatory requirements.

Business Growth Strategy:

  • Lead the development and execution of business growth initiatives that support Maxicare's corporate objectives, including new product launches, service enhancements, and market penetration strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance, to align business development activities with the company's overall strategy.
  • Identify and assess opportunities for mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures, preparing detailed business cases and financial models to support decision-making.

Corporate Strategy Execution:

  • Translate long-term strategic plans into actionable business development initiatives.
  • Ensure the successful execution of strategic projects by managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications.
  • Monitor the performance of strategic initiatives, providing regular updates and reports to senior management on progress and key metrics.

Innovation & New Business Models:

  • Drive the identification and exploration of new business models, digital innovations, and service enhancements that can improve Maxicare's value proposition to corporate and individual clients.
  • Lead the identification and development of initiatives to introduce innovative healthcare solutions that align with the changing needs of customers and the healthcare industry.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, presenting business development strategies and opportunities to executive leadership and board members.
  • Act as a key representative of Maxicare in industry forums, conferences, and events, promoting the company's business development initiatives and strategic vision.

QUALIFICATIONS

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or related fields. MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development, strategic planning, or corporate strategy, preferably in healthcare, insurance, or related industries.
  • Proven track record in identifying, negotiating, and executing business partnerships, growth initiatives, or strategic projects.
  • Experience in market analysis and business case development.
