FOR HIRE: COMMISSARY WAREHOUSE OFFICER

Job Summary

The Warehouse Checker ensures accurate receiving, checking, storage, and dispatch of all food products in the commissary. This role involves verifying stock movements, maintaining inventory accuracy, analyzing usage data for ordering, and safeguarding sensitive business information. The position carries accountability for losses, errors, or breaches of confidentiality caused by negligence or misconduct.

Key Responsibilities

1. Receiving & Quality Inspection

  • Verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery receipts.
  • Check product quantity, lot/batch numbers, expiration dates, and condition.
  • Reject and document any non-compliant or damaged items.
  • Report discrepancies to Purchasing and QA immediately.

2. Inventory Control & Data Analysis

  • Conduct cycle counts and monthly reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movements.
  • Follow FIFO/FEFO standards.
  • Analyze consumption trends, calculate usage rates per SKU, and recommend orders to avoid overstock or stockouts.

3. Dispatch & Verification

  • Confirm picking lists match prepared items.
  • Verify product codes, lot numbers, and quantities before loading.
  • Ensure secure and compliant packing for delivery.

4. Food Safety & Housekeeping

  • Keep storage areas clean, organized, and pest-free.

5. Confidentiality & Data Protection

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of company data, including:
  • Stock reports, supplier pricing, consumption rates, and product formulations.
  • Internal processes and security measures.
  • Avoid sharing sensitive information with unauthorized persons, whether inside or outside the company.

6. Reporting & Coordination

  • Submit accurate daily discrepancy, variance, and usage reports.
  • Work closely with Production, Purchasing, and Logistics teams.
  • Immediately escalate suspected theft, fraud, or security breaches.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate; college level or vocational course preferred.
  • 1–2 years warehouse experience in food production/distribution.
  • Knowledge of FIFO, FEFO, GMP, HACCP.
  • Skilled in basic math, inventory usage computation, and Excel.
  • Trustworthy with a strong sense of confidentiality and integrity.
