The Liaison Staff (Government and Regulatory Staff) is responsible for ensuring that the company complies with all government, regulatory, and licensing requirements. The role involves preparing, filing, monitoring, and securing all necessary business permits, licenses, accreditations, and registrations. The position also serves as the company's liaison with various government agencies and local government units (LGUs).

This position serves as a training ground for advancement into the role of Government Relations Officer, who will handle higher-level coordination, policy monitoring, and relationship management with key regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

A. Regulatory Compliance & Documentation

  • Prepare, process, and file applications for business permits, mayor's permits, barangay
  • clearances, sanitary permits, occupancy permits, and other required licenses.
  • Maintain a compliance tracker and calendar of renewal dates to ensure timely filing and renewal.
  • Prepare supporting documents, forms, and affidavits required by various government agencies (e.g., DTI, SEC, BIR, LGUs, TIEZA, etc.).
  • Monitor and maintain updated copies of all regulatory documents and certificates.

B. Government Liaison Work

  • Act as the official liaison to various government offices, including local and national agencies, to facilitate applications, registrations, and compliance matters.
  • Coordinate and follow up with government personnel on submitted documents, permits, and approvals.
  • Represent the company in government inspections, audits, and compliance checks.

C. Policy & Regulatory Monitoring

  • Keep abreast of new and updated laws, regulations, and issuances that may affect business operations.
  • Provide summaries or reports to management on regulatory changes and their implications.

D. Administrative and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records and files of all government and regulatory correspondence.
  • Prepare periodic compliance status reports for management.
  • Support other administrative functions as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, Legal Management, or any related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in government liaison, business permit processing, or regulatory compliance.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
