Human Resources Coordinator / Advisor

We are a fast-growing construction company with a strong track record delivering high-quality remedial projects across NSW.

As our operations continue to expand, we are seeking an organised, people-focused Human Resources professional to join our team.

About the Role:

You'll play a key role in supporting our workforce, ensuring smooth HR operations, and helping maintain a positive, compliant, and productive work environment. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving construction environment and enjoys balancing hands-on work with strategic HR support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle end-to-end recruitment for site and office positions, including advertising, screening, and onboarding
  • Maintain employee records, contracts, and compliance documentation
  • Coordinate inductions, training, and ongoing development programs
  • Support workforce planning and forecasting across multiple projects
  • Assist with WHS documentation, incident reporting, and compliance requirements
  • Manage employee queries with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Support management in performance reviews, HR reporting, and policy updates
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and promote employee engagement

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience in HR, ideally within construction or trades-based environments
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask effectively and prioritise deadlines
  • Solid understanding of Australian employment legislation and compliance
  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive attitude
  • Ability to build rapport with site teams, trades, and office staff
