Roles and Responsibilities
  • Assist in sourcing suppliers and requesting quotations for goods and services.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers on order status, delivery schedules, and any discrepancies.
  • Maintain updated records of purchases, delivery information, and invoices.
  • Assist in monitoring inventory levels to avoid stock shortages.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and budget guidelines.
  • Support in vendor evaluation and performance monitoring.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to the purchasing department, such as filing and documentation.
  • Provide timely updates to the Purchasing Officer/Manager regarding purchase requests and delivery status.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred but not always required).
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
