Work setup: We operate in a hybrid work environment, and we encourage applicants who are open to working in the office two days a week to apply.

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 3PM to 11PM Manila time, overlaps with UK operating hours

Employment type: Permanent

Location: Makati City, Metro Manila

Pay range: Php 33,000 to 43,000

We are looking for an experienced instructional designer to join our team and help improve our current global training programme. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing exceptional training courses for our exams officers.

What will you do as an instructional designer?

Reporting to the Training Manager - Exams officers, your accountabilities will include:

• Leading on the design and build of self-study courses on our Learning Management System (Moodle).
• Responding to customer and colleague queries about available training via Zendesk.
• Reviewing participant engagement and feedback to find ways of improving training offer.
• Collaborating with team members to create training content, and support team workload.
• Proactively manage personal development and knowledge of training technology to improve our training offer.

What makes you the ideal candidate for this role?

An ideal candidate has the following qualities:

Essential:

• Proficient in using Learning Management Systems such as Moodle and Blackboard including CSS coding, H5p and Articulate 360.
• Minimum of 1 year in instructional design with experience in designing, building and developing training courses.
• Skilled in storyboarding and analysing feedback using the ADDIE training model.
• Strong creativity, problem-solving, and communication; able to translate complex processes into a simple message.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable to challenges and innovative solutions.

Desirable:

• knowledge on the role of the exams officer.
• A good awareness of the global education sector- with an understanding of the political, educational, and other factors impacting upon the contexts in which an awarding organisation works.
